Amanda Edin

Children’s Pastor

Amanda grew up in the Verndale Alliance Church and attended Bethel University with a double major in mathematics education and elementary education. She started attending Rose Hill Alliance Church in 2010 and volunteered with various kids ministries. Amanda began as the children’s ministries director in August of 2018 and continues working with all of the kids in the church. In her spare time, Amanda enjoys knitting and sewing and other crafty hobbies.

Sue Carpentier

Office Secretary

Sue Carpentier is the secretary for Rose Hill Alliance Church and has also been a member for 32 years! "What a blessing to be able to serve the Lord in this position. I enjoy the challenge, the people and the many friendships I have made." Sue's husband Jeff and children Drew and Cassie have been a great support and involved with her work in many aspects. 

Before Sue felt called to join our staff, Sue worked in retail for 27 years. Sue enjoys music, working on the computer, electronics, crafts, sewing, friends, trying to get organized, and vacuuming.

Joel Svenson

Youth Pastor

Joel grew up at Rose Hill. After graduating from Crown College with a Youth Ministry degree, he returned to Rose Hill to direct the youth ministry that was foundational to his faith during his teenage years at Rose Hill. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, listening to music, and hanging out with friends.

Lois Estell

Worship Music Director

Lois moved to the Twin Cities in the Fall of 2017 and began attending Rose Hill and participating on the worship team in 2018. She stepped into the Worship Music Leader position in May of 2019 and has enjoyed working with the wonderful staff and volunteers at Rose Hill. Lois is a missionary kid from Taiwan, holds a double major in Music Ministry and Theatre from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA and moved to the Twin Cities to continue her acting career..
